A SWEDISH man has claimed a mouthguard made his penis shrink.
The victim, in his 40s, was prescribed the plastic device by his dentist last February to stop him from grinding his teeth at night.
But, the disgruntled guy stopped using it after 10 months after claiming his manhood was “noticeably shorter”.
He is also believed to be suffering from erectile dysfunction.
According to the Kvallsposten newspaper, the man’s dentist, who is based in Kronoberg county, has since reported the possible malfunction to Sweden’s Medical Products Agency.
He has said he will stop prescribing the mouthguard until the investigation has ended
The patient, who has not been publicly identified, said his penis returned to normal size a week after he stopped using the brace.
He believes chemicals in the device may be to blame.
